Default Dspec install ? ASAP!

Do you resuse thebumpstopfrom the old strut? Yellow mushroom thing on the stock struts

Plus what about the dust boots. The factory one has a metal washer at the top. Dspec dust boot does not and is wide open.

Your D-specs came with a new dust boot? Mine didn't.

Then again, they didn't come with the nuts to bolt them into the car either.

Well I went with the OE dust boots. Look alot better than the Dspec ones
I removed the bumpstops.

I did not get any install instructions with mine, oh well, who reads those anyway!

Went great, no issues, love it. Snowed today of all days so could not test em out.

The Strut mount that is replaced in the TSB took care of the chuckle/klunk over bumps too!

The only bolt they should have came with is the top bolt on the shaft.

The set I bought had nothing. I got struts....that's it. No nut, no dust boot, no bump stop, just a strut. The shocks at least had the new rubber and nut. I just used the stock bump stop and dust boot, and had to go to R&E Fasteners here in Reno to get the nuts. They didn't have a flanged nylock 14mm x 1.5mm, but the Steeda strut mounts have a pretty thick washer on top, so I didn't really see the purpose for a flanged nut.
