I have my tax return and at first was just going to buy new wheels and tires. I have looked and looked at Black Wheels until I see them in my sleep!Then I decided to maybe not just go with one big ticket item in wheels and tires, but get a bunch of smaller ones like a Chin Spoiler, New Mufflers, "Eleanor Grill", and some inside spruce ups. I am also thinking about Painting my Stock Rims black to go along with my scheme that I have right now and then getting new wheels closer to the end of the year. Here is some links to my car.

My question is this. Should I go with a painted chin spoiler? or black. I cannot make up my mind. I have looked and looked at pictures and pictures of each of your rides and everytime I make up my mind to have the spoiler painted and have the stripes on it then I will see someones that is left black and decide to leave it like that. Should I go with the CDC Aggressive or Classic Spoiler. Does anyone have the Pypes Violator Mufflers? Just let me know what you guys think and I will take it to heart when making my decision. Also, have I made the wrong decision and should I go with new wheels and tires? Oh..My budget is around $1500 to $1600. Thanks in advance. Jeff

Damn, car looks good. Seeing as you have the rear spoiler in black and plenty of black pieces (love the retro look).....I would leave the spoiler black (unpainted), but if you do paint it.....add the matching stripes.

 

Yes, I will put the stripes on the spoiler if I get it painted.

 

I say go painted, the side skirts and bumper are painted, it might look a little out of place unpainted

 

i would leave the chin spoiler black and i would get rims you got a really nice car

 

GET THE RIMS that car looks so good, if you got some rims (black with chrome lip) you would be a showstopper wherever you go
i got my 18' rims and Nitto 555s for $1650 at Discount Tire with the TPMS bands, install,and certs

P.S. i kinda want that retro look myself

get the chin painted. if you leave it black it just looks like a piece of cheap platic that doesnt belong there. If you are ok with the bullitts just get them powdercoated or painted. I had mine painted over a year ago and they still look new. only cost $35 a rim which was $140 total. thats cheaper than the cost of one rim

 

Thanks for all the compliments on my car. I actually didn't expect all that since I kind of thought I had a pretty average looking car compared to most on here. What do you all think about the Cirvini's front chin spoiler from this page. Its that old school look like was on the old Mach 1's and stuff which is what I am kind of trying to stick with on my car. Its at this page, about half way down and its the B2 front spoiler. I tried to just cut and post a picture but the site won't let me do it. Its for the B2 and B9 builds.
