Default Am I crazy?

Allright here we go I have an 07 alloy PP. I just put on some 20" toyos and wanted to see if I could spin them. So here is the the crazy part if I take the traction control off put it in 1 st gear and punch it I get black tire prints from both wheels for up to 10' I've done this at least 20 times and it's the same each time. But if I do a brake stand only one tire spins. I think this has a open diff, so thats up? Anyone else with a 6cyl try this and let me know. It does not feel like the tires are spinning to me when I punch it but it's putting down rubber?

get a t-lok. while youre at it, get 3.73 or 4.10 gears to make the wheels spin even faster

not exactly sure (at all), but i've read that t-loc resolves the one wheel burnout issue

when the car is stock, only one wheel gets power. with a tlok installed, both rear wheels will be under power

I know what a t-loc does. I want to know why both tires put down rubber with a open diff? Also if I floor it making a tight U turn with traction control off I'll fish tail almost out of control.

ORIGINAL: 1morepart

the 6 cylinder isn't a true "posi"......lock it with a T
But is it still a limited slip were both tires spin without a t-loc

The GT is posi the V6 is not. I remeber a post awhile back where this same question was asked.

Well that is weird.
If it not a posi then why is laying down twin marks?
