Anyone know how quick i can get a bama tune if i order it off their page? i need one by friday, is this too quick of notice?

I got mine within 48 hrs

 

I spoke with Doug on the phone, made the online order, paid with Paypal, and had the tunes in my mailbox all in the span of an hour.
The dude rocks.

 

I placed an order online, and had the tune emailed the following day. Call him first to inquire.

 

I got mine in under 24 hours.

 

so you get it emails and then just load it from your computer to the SCT?
If so its just a USB cable? Do I also need a powersupply for it.

Also, If I have an XCAL 3 that comes with all those dyno tunes, would I still need a custom tune from bama or brenspeed or are those sct tunes sufficient?

Mustangchris, the tuner will power itself up from the computer via the usb or in the car from the obd II port. Download the sct software online. Have email tune saved on comp. send to sct program, connect tuner and move the tune into the handheld. Then out to the car you go and load.

 

ok great. My diablosport needed a powersupply. thats nice that the usb powers this.

But what ide like to know is the tunes that SCT already has on the xcal3, are they just as good as a mailorder tune?

 

I used my car to power my Predator to upload the tune to it from my laptop.
