They are hard to work around.
Yes but me almost knocking my hood on my head last night would have been worse

I think I am going with the redline ones, they look like they work well.

Actually they're not to bad to work around, theres a little c-clip that you remove and you can lay them down flat or take them off completely. If you need to be under that particular area for an extended period of time, I just prop up the hood until I'm done.

REDLINE! The ones in that picture are Redline and they are the best I've ever seen. My Cervinis hood works perfectly with them and they look great.

and I haven't had any problems working around them!

The Steeda hood Struts are excellent. easy to install no drilling. Uses existing bolts. My hood has been up & down so many times the past month they got a life time of use already. No Problems!!
