How much should I offer?
2005 Musgtang GT Convertible 5speed manual. Grey metalic (don't remember the real name) red leather interior. no rear spoiler option
60K miles, 2nd ower of the car is selling it.
pro 5.0 shifter, bmr lower control arms and adjustable panhard bar, CAI and brenspeed tune, 17" bullitts, shaker 500,
lowering springs but I can't remember which ones (I want to say eibach)
So how much would this car be worth?

~First 60K is a bit of miles for a 3 y.o. car, probably quite a bit more than your average. Second, Red Leather is typically a resale nightmare...just a warning. Finally, check the reciepts (if avialable) on the installations for the aftermarket parts and have the whole damn car looked over by a mechanic you trust. Looks to me like one of the owners liked to run a 1/4 mile at a time, so you want to make sure you are not getting more problems due to hard usage.
In so far as the price goes, get a Kelly Blue Book and check, but typical sale prices for '05 'Stangsgo from $13.1K to 23.5K according to Consumer Reports. I would probably look toward the $15K-$17K range, but I am a penny pinching, **** retentive, cheepskate A**hole [8D]

+1 on find something else. That mileage is WAAAAAAAY high. NADA on mine (stock) with 15k miles is $26k (according to the guy who did the appraisal last weekend).. On a year older, with THAT many miles, and not even loaded, I'd have to go with somewhere around the $15k mark, maybe less. For that money you could get into a used coupe with WAAAAAY less miles.

Dude for real 60,000 miles in three years? I wouldn't even consider it. Spend a few more bucks and get something with WAY less miles. That thing is passed its prime. If you do buy it your looking at replacing parts pretty soon. I wouldn't give him more then 14,500.
