It will be a bit of a trip for me, but if I can make it I will!

Got a buddy that lives in San Antonio - so may just have to make a weekend trip to go visit - then make my way over to Austin.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I'm really considering doing this. Anyone whos ever done one of these before mind telling me a little about how it goes. Do you guys usually just drive one behind another or in a formation what?

And don't worry. As we get closer to the date, I'll be PMing everyone that's RSVPed with detailed maps, recommended places to wash your stang before everyone sees her (if you so choose [8D]), good gas stations, the works.

I put my request in for time off at work -- and it looks like I'm getting it.

So I should be there - barring any major setbacks.
