Burnsy... I want the chase kit as well. Tell us more about the install. It looks intimidating, especially compared to the plug & play kits available.

I only used his connectors that he sends in the kit 3 or 4 times, and they were all T-taps, because they looked like they would hold well and I didn't feel like soldering into the middle of a wire if I didn't have to.
If you use his scotch-locks, they will work, but someday they will fail. Soldering/Heatshrinking is the way to go without question and it is EASY!
The install took me an hour and a half (going very slowly, heatshrinking everthing) and that also included removal and re-installation of the panels as well as cleaning out my trunk.
If you don't have a friend that is good at wiring, then just take your time. Go to radio shack, get a soldering iron, solder, heat shrink, wire stripper, and a crimper just incase you need to use a connector of his.
Honestly it is not hard, but it does look hard.

red IDC (insulation displacementconnectors) Scotchlock
wire connectors they supply. Give your stang the respect
it deserves and use solder and two stage heat shrink on
all connections as the factory did.

Otherwise you are setting someone up for taillight problems in the future. [

those are the ONLY scotchlocks I used... There wasn't much wire there and they looked like they were pretty solid to me... Why do you see these as weaker than the others?
If your 05 or 06 has an early build date, this looks like a pretty darn good deal. Haven't picked up a set yet, keep meaning to, but.....well, you know.....

Checked my Date on the door plate and it says: 05/06
Does this mean May of '06 - or - June of '05?
I didn't know there was a difference ... and hoping they will work.
