Should I???
Fabricate a "skid" plate for the front bumper on the cervinis kit? i was thinkin of gettin some sheet metal and cutting a template of the bottom edge of the cervinis bumper. get some small steel tubing and heating the front edge and bending it around the small tubing to create a roll to wrap around the front edge. Painting the whole thing black and screw it to the bottom so scraping would not be as big of a problem. I'm not sure if you guys can figure out what im saying exactly, its kind of hard to explain. Plz ask me questions if you dont quite follow me haha
what do you guys think about the idea?

Well if you paint a shiny piece of metal black. One which will be used as a skid plate. Once you scrape, won't it not be black anymore???

Seems like a lot of work, but to each his own I guess. Sometimes people do things though cause they enjoy playing around in the garage. Make it if you are bored post some pics, get laughed at, and then take it off and throw it away.
At least you found something to do rather than just troll the forums...

Someone else who had this kit was thinking about doing the same thing. I would try it but I wouldn't worry about rolling it up around the front end. The majority of the scraping (if not all) will happen on the bottom of the front end or on the side skirts (speed bumps) so your not going to need to wrap the metal around the front. If you dont' wrap it, you wouldn't need to waste your time painting it because it won't be visible (unless you get up under the car) and the paint will scrape off anyway (since it is being used to scrape on the ground...) I would try it and see how it works.
