Does anyone have a pdf showing the drivers door window assembly? I need to adjust the window about 1/2" toward the rear of the door to get a better seal on the weatherstripping and I'm not sure if the window assembly has the capability of easily being adjusted front to back. I found the pdf to remove the interior door trim.

Are the files locked or protected? They won't load for me. Maybe it's my work computer's security controls.

Thanks for the help. If it looks like I can attempt the adjustment I may try. You never know what will happen to the car at a dealer service department.

 

Its all adjustable.
There is a bolt on the door bottom
and one on the inside under the red reflector.
Pop out the reflector and the bolt becomes accessable.
Some window adjustments can be made without
removing the inside trim panel.

 

I finally did see the PDF's through my wife and her computer. Those adjustment points look promising, I just don't know if they will actually move the window 1/2" back or if they are for adjusting the inboard/outboard of the window top when closed. If I need to remove the interior panel, water shield and bolts holding the window to the regulator I might just take it to the dealer instead. If I break something I own it, if they do maybe after a fight they will fix it.

 

Its an inboard, outboard adjustment only from what I can understand
from the Ford Workshop Manual. It does not show front to back
adjustment procedures anywhere I can find. []
