Default stupid question

OK......this may be really dumb but when I was talking with aAccord owner (kinda rice....but he also owns a nice beefed up Impala....so I guess it equals out) and he told me that the when I get my new rim/tire(18x9 hypercoated GT4's/nitto 555s) the new TPMS sensors may mess with the car comp and with that my tune from Breenspeed will not work. Does this make any sense??? I know the TPMS sensors are linked up somehow.....but I do not think that they would effect the tune. He is a pretty car smart guy....so I guess that is whyI am asking you guys.
Also........If I bring the car to ford to have them mount/balance/and put the sensors+bands on would it be smart to remove my CAI/tune?...just in case

No, the TPMS has no relation to the PCM and to your tune. Maybe on a ricer but not on our Stangs.

Just in case what??? Your stealership doesn't need to open the hood to mount and balance your tires. And even if they did, who cares? In order to not cover a warranty issue they have to prove that the mod was a direct result of the problem. I wish people would stop being wusses about this warranty vs. mod thing...

the lack of sensors won't affect the tune - and i wouldn't worry about taking off the cai either; however, make sure you have the stock ecu code written down. some dealerships have been known to update comps without notifying the owner first.
