Default shaker 1000 question

I have a 2005 GT with the Shaker 1000 radio. I have been reading on here that several of you have bought after market speakers from Sony, Alpine, and others to name just a few and that you have noticed a noticable increase. The only thing is all of you that have posted all have the Shaker 500. I know that the main difference is the Shaker 1000 has a 1000 watt amp instead of 500, and I am wondering does it have different speakers, or are they the same? Has anyone changed out the factory speakers to after market ones in the Shaker 1000's and had a noticable difference? If so can anyone tell me what speakers to buy for all the positions? From Subs in the trunk to the rear deck, to both the ones in each door. I also don't know the sizes of each and I would rather ask you guys and learn from you than from my local Best Buy or Circuit City feller who doesn't know anything about Mustangs. Please Help?
Also, on a second note of sort. I went to Auto Zone last night and purchased $80 worth of paint and sand paper to paint my wheels today. I was going to buy 18 inch black bullets for my car and my GF said..those look just like the ones you have. Too bad you can't paint them. So I started thinking, 18 inch wheels are just barely bigger, not like I am going up to 20 inchers. And it can't be too hard to paint them. So I looked up several articles where some of you have painted your own wheels and I am going to do it today. Supposed to be a nice, sunny day here in Northern Louisiana and I am going to take advantage of it! Wish me good luck!!!! Thanks in advance for any help with the speaker help! Jeff
