Default x pipe

hi guys I'm new here I have an 07 gtandI have aquestion about an x pipe from mac or pypes both are the same design they get cut into after the stock cats I would assume both would make the car sound the same withthe stock mufflers, I was also thinking of getting boom tubes put on the car any suggestions about this

i think onederful100will tell you that you are headed down the right track, but you should get an off road x [8D] I'm not a fan of x pipes as they have a raspy sound to them. I'd say you should check out some cars locally if you can to see what you like. Where are you located?

I'm in tampa florida, basically I've been on youtube checking every type of possible setup I was on one website that said the stock cats were pretty good flowing soI figured this might be a good idea to do while I'm still looking at what exhaust to put on. I have a bbk cold air intake on it right know and it sounds different already when you step on the gas I just want to give it a nice head turning exhust tone you can hear down the street

not sure if the BBK needs it, but most intakes require a tune. If you don't have one, id suggest you get one. They add quite a bit of power and you will more than likely need one for another mod in the near future. I think you should go with the boomtubes and a prochamber. The prochambers have no cats but everyone will stop and look. It does not have a raspy tin sound to it, I actually like it. It will be loud though and more than likely get people to look from a few blocks away also haha
