I used to have a 94 mustang and I used to use it to haul my seadoo no problems that i can remember. Having said thatI dont thinkI would use my 2007 mustang gt. BTW I had a hidden hitch installed you could'nt even really see it.

No offense, but I don't understand why everyone is against towing a light weight toy behind their Stangs. I too have thought about doing this as well. I have a Sea Doo that is about 1300 ibs with the trailer. I'm sure the car is capable of towing this much. It'd be pretty close to haulingfour 200# football players as passengers LOL. Oh, and a hidden hitch would be a necessity!

I don't see why it's a bad thing either, it's just a car and for most, it's their DD.

The tow hitch would be ugly-*** for sure though, but it's a price some have to pay.
Would be cool if somebody make a hidden hitch system, like the BMW's and many other Euro cars. They cut a hole in the rear valance for the hitch to poke through but have a body coloured cover which you put in place when it's not in use. Very nice

MUSTANG = FOR HAULING.
Fixed. The Mustang is great for hauling; better mileage than a pickup, and can easily handle 1500 lbs. Throw a trans cooler on there & a trailer with brakes and it could probably handle 3000 lbs.

I think the few mustangs I've seen with a hitch, it was black & not very noticeable under the bumper. Now, if you put a light up Ford badge that plugs into it, that might be a bit much...

+1 Every summer I see several SN95s and New Edges pulling jet skis. I have watched these guys launch and they have zero problems. I don't think there is anything wrong with pulling a trailer with a stang.

This random and old, but remember the movie "The Long, Long Trailer" with Lucile Ball and Desi Arnaz. They pulled that huge trailer with that little Merc. convertible. So what's a jet ski to a Mustang? Big deal.

you can either,
bring a friend that has a truck
or buy a beater to haul 'em.

being in florida
every launch is a double-dip saltwater bath,
might be how the beaters.....became beaters

If ya got enough $$ to have a MustangAND a JetSki,
you should have enough to swing a beater to haul the JetSki.
Or maybe a new H3 to haul the JetSki? Or buy a summer home
near the water to store the JetSki at. Problem solved.
