So how does it work? You design it up in Inventor and then send the picture to the machinist? Or do you send him like a program or something?

 

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yes, it is the Mandelorian symbol from Star Wars, i'm kind of a Star Wars geek. I design it Inventor and just sent the machinist the part file and alot of CNC programs all you have to do is just throw the file in there and it will map out the machining. The guy I used charged me $100 material and labor, it was the best price i got from a few others so I was happy with it.

 

Thats not bad at all! I think I need to design some parts and talk to the machinist at my work. haha
