With the warmer weather comes time to think about striping my car. I just can't decide on what color stripes. I know I want the superstripe because everyone has the rally ones.

My color choices are: slate metallic, charcoal metallic, silver metallic, matte black, gloss black and maybe, just maybe, navy blue. I know blue is a pretty common color to go with for a white car so that's just a maybe. Not too many white cars with blue superstripes but a lot with blue rally stripes. That's the only reason I would consider blue is if it was a superstripe.

Note that Idon't have a problem withremoving the GT/CS side stripe if need be.

I know it would ultimately be my decision on what to get but just wondering what everyone else likes on a white car. Please post pics of your white stangs with stripes.

 

uh keep the CS stripe. you should be proud of it

and try for a fading black superstripe, if you really must do any extra srtipes

 

One option I thought about is getting a silver metallic superstripe and change the CS side stripe with a silver one to match. I think Autotrimdesign sells the fading side stripes in silver. I was also thinking of a matte black or gloss black superstripe to match the side stripe like the one in this picture...

Yeah, silver or gray! That's different......Also, they are called "Pace Car" or "Rally" stripes, not super stripes. I was one of the first to do this 2 years ago, and got the idea from a 1968 Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car. There's also many other different colors which would look good.

 

Aren't rally stripes the same as dual stripes? Baltimorestreetmods calls the single stripe w/pinstripes their superstripe.

 

I am having a bit of the same issue, except I know I am going gloss black. I LOVE the foose tribute stripe in black but I am thinking of gettinga custom airbrushed version that will fade to the back and sides into a checkered flag, kind of like the 2002 camaro SS hood stripe does. I would go with the color that matches my wheels best if I were you. If you got black on the wheels go black.
