Well I'm leaning toward saying yes on monday.

Its meen like 7 or 8 years since I drove standard and while this will be a weekend driver at most I am concerned. Anyone have a Bullitt and wish to comment on how easy the shifting is?

IT should be fine. The mustangs are easy to drive, plenty of torque so you are less likely to stall anyways.

Get what you want! Sounds like you want a black one so get it.

I agree with the rarity thing. Most people opt for the green bullitt so the black ones should be rarer. Either way you're probably not going to be disappointed.

The shifter feels notchier than the GT and you have to be carefull with third, very close ratio!! But it is all good!!

Well, I think it is a great deal considering I have been to 7 ford dealers today and the 2 that had bullitts wanted 34k+ for the same options. If I wanted Green they wanted +1 or +2k to sticker.

Thats insane. For some reason the black ones are cheaper..

I'm 90% certain I will be buying this car on monday.

$30,700 sounds good now.

if i could, i would sooo paint mine DHG...i just like the color, and i'm not a green person at all...i saw my first bullitt in person last week and it was great...of course the dude driving was about 80 :D...same thing with all the roush, shelby,and saleen cars around here...oh well, i hope when i'm 80 if they still have cars i'm drivin something cool and not a caddy

Amen to keeping a black car clean!!! They are beautiful but they are very high maintenance when it comes to keeping them clean. The most challenging part is protecting against swirls and scratches...they really show the slightess mark...probably wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't paranoid about them...anyway...wouldn't swap by car for any other color.
