So yeah, my dream of owning a Green Bullitt (w/HID, Ambient Lighting, no Nav) for 27k and change went up in smoke I was outbid and I'm not paying 28k+ for a green bullitt (I really wanted black).

I found a black one being offered in NJ (not on ebay) for $30,700. It has: HID, Ambient Lighting, and 1000 Shaker Audio. It's MSRP is $33,930. I did the negeotiating over the phone, found him on a dealer search and looking at online inventory. It is an "auto mall" and they have tons of mustangs to move.

Is this a good deal? Its loaded.. has the top of the line stero. They also will ship it to me for $350 or I can pick it up.

I knwo its not $27k and change.. which was my desired price...

Should I do it?

They agreed to 3k below sticker because they said the black ones aren't moving /shrug.

i got my bullitt on april 1, out the door for almost $800 under msrp in tn. i have been reading here where people are getting better deals than that, but who knows. i only know what i got. sounds like you are on to something here. good luck!

yeah, if my GT got wrecked tomorrow I'd be buying a green Bullitt, but for at least $2,000 under MSRP. That's including the 2 rebates Ford is offering.

How much you pay is really going to depend on where you are. Most dealerships only have 1 or 2 and will want to keep them on the lot for as long as possible to draw in people who will end up getting a better deal on a mustang from their inventory.

Man, you just cannot beat a black Mustang, I don't care what model it is they are just simply gorgeous.

I would love to have one but I am not ready to dedicate my life to cleaning the car everyday and every time I take it out for a spin. Very high cleaning maintenance car.

Stay with the Green if you can.
