to go to Irwindale! ST Motorsports will be closing down and we are going to blow up Irwindale and everyone is going to be shooting for their new personal bests. You will see the fastests S197's on the west coast for sure. We are all getting there at 3:00 pm to get a huge pit. The following cars will be running for sure...

What times are you shooting for specifically

For me - 5.90 - 6.0 @ around 113 mph (1/8 mile of course)

BTW: OT but I was bummed about getting my car on tuesday. I was really trying for friday so I could have made the cruise tomorrow. I will for sure make the next one come hell or high water.

Thanks! But you know in racing, sometimes crap happens and that's just part of racing so - knock on wood - everything goes good, but it is what it is and sometimes crap breaks... that's just racing and if anyone is worried about it - it isn't the sport for them, if I'm honest...

When you start making 600+ rwhp in these things - you really have to throw reliability out the window - if you're really running them hard anyway.

I've been out 3 months building this new set-up so I am dying to get down the track again! Can't wait and hope some of the so cal guys make it out cause it's going to be fun and if anyone is interested in drag racing, you will have access to a great buch of guys who have no problems taking the time out to talk with and help guys new to the sport.

We've got Whipple's, Saleens, KB's, and N/A cars all coming down. Only $20.00 to race and Irwindale is a great prepped track (one of the best in so cal actually). Like I said, hope some of you regular 'cruise' members come on down and see how much fun it is to actually race your car. Win or lose - it's a blast![sm=icon_rock.gif]
