Default Shaker 500 - Display Question

I have a 2005 Mustang with the Shaker 500 system. About a month ago, I had to replace the battery in my car. Ever since then, the radio does not display information about songs. It used to show the name of the song, the artist, and the station. Any idea why it doesn't show that now? I can't figure out how to get that back. Thanks!

Turn on your RDS. Just push menu button until you find it and turn on.

if you are FM/AM mode press menu twice and turn on RDBS then you should have all of your station information.

Thanks for responding. When I went through the menu, it no longer had an option for RDS. I'll try hitting the menu twice and see if that helps. It seems like there is a new option on the menu since the battery change, but I can't think of it right now.

You have to hold the menu button for 2 or 3 seconds to get to the RDS option. For whatever reason its hidden in the menu. Look at your owners manual, it shows how to turn RDS on.

On my 2006, I simply press the menu button and hold it in for about 3-4 seconds and 'then' the RDS option is displayed. Give this a try.
