Holy frijoles. That ain't right.
Hope your insurance premium remains the same. What did she hit the mustang with?
Insurance doesn't work that way. You can't file a claim when yourcar was hit by your own car (assuming they are insured by the same company).

Good luck with the repair!

well I can't speak for your state but in my home state you sure could... Actually the beauty of it (if there is such a thing in this situation) is that you only have to pay the deductible on the FJ. The Stang should be fixed 100% for free. And I would think the rates will increase after the claim. They always do.

I have gieco and she has farmers, and famers claims that they have a family clause that states two cars in the same household that get in an accident each cars polices take care of it own ride, so because we live in the same house her insurance takes care of her car and mine takes care of the stang, so we have to pay two deductibles [:@] but my insurance will go after hers to get my deductible back.

Always look at the positives:

1. No one got hurt, you a kid on a bike, etc.
2. Good excuse for a few new mods, including but not limited to reverse parking sensors for her car
3. Bargaining power with a party (our wives) we usually lose to
4. Most of all, I am 100% sure it was not an intentional act and that she feels sorry about it, at the end they love these cars ( I know my wife does)

All in all, it hurts to see the car ion this state, but a few days at a good body shop, you should be better than new, maybe even the GT500 front end.
