Default Pypes Violator Axle back

I have just ordered the pypes violator axleback kit...my car is otherwise mechanically stock...anybody have this setup? Like it/don't like it? I have listened to several sound clips...that's no substitute for the real thing tho...I am nervous about how it will sound...I just know that the stock system isn't loud enough or deep for me...

by the way...it,s an 08 GT...manual trans...billet upper and lower grille and hood scoop grille...shorty antenna...20% tint...factory 18"polished rims

I love the sound of the Violators. They're as drone-free as you can get, and plenty loud and deep. Here's a few clips of mine. They were taken with a HD camera, so they're pretty accurate. While they are definitely louder than stock, I still needed more, so I went with an off road pipe. It's insanely loud now. I may go to a catted pro-chamber eventually. It sounds great, but man is it loud.

First part is with stock cats, second half is with off road h pipe.

I've got the Violator cat-back (nearly identical to the axle back), and I love it.

here's a short video of a start and drive-off

I've got the violator axlebacks as well. Love the sound but so far I have had 2 seperate brackets break loose from the drivers side. Broke clean from the muffler.

It's not like I go off roading or anything with my car.

Welded them back in place and so far they are holding but it makes me wonder about the quality of them in general.

I think the quality is good with the Violators. I have not heard that happen with anyone else and believe me I looked. I had researched this exhaust for months before I bought on every forum. They are a great sounding exhaust with a great price. I definitely recommend getting the polished though. I have had mine for about 8 months now and they have definitely gotten louder over time. I love them.

Got the polished. Maybe I just happened to get a bad one. The passenger side has never had a problem at all. The drivers side broke on those 2 occasions.

They do sound great though.
