So I got this noise and its not from the actual boot. It is from the frame of the boot (probably not the right technical term). I have talked to a few others on here that have the same thing. For me it starts vibrating in 2nd and 4th gears at around 2300 in my V6. I tried spraying some silicon on the underside of the boot and I thought that fixed it but within a couple of days it had come right back. Any ideas? If there is a TSB I didn't see it but post a link if there is.

EDIT: I have the stock shifter just fyi
