Default Cervinis "eleanor" window scoops problem with fitment?!?!?!

ok, i bought a set of the cervinis side window scoops ( not the slotted ones, the eleanor ones). After having them painted, my body guy any i dry fitted them and they dont seem like they fit very well. You can make them fit but you have to really push on them. I thought this was very unusual because i have heard from many people about the excellent fitment of cervinis products as well as i also have a cervinis hood and the lower door scoops and the fitment was excellent. Anybody else have these? Howwas the fitment? My body guy got the passenger side one to fit and to seal up all the way around with the double sided tape...but the drivers side one has a opening at the top (the double sided tape is seperated from the window). I am about to pull off the drivers side one again and put new tape and try to reseat the scoop. It seems like the scoop is almost curled in the middle. Any suggestions or comments

Same with mine and the driver side wouldn't cover it exactly the same as the passenger side. You can't tell since I have a black car but I know it would stand out on any other color of car.

didnt you guys prefit them before you painted them? You could have sanded them down as necessary for a flush fit?

they line up OK they just don't have the natural bend the car has in the window area. Prep it good and it will adhear properly. you might have to use 2 layers of the 3 M tape in some areas to make them hug snuggly.

Prep is the Key Word to making them stay on while driving. They fit could be better but what they sell will have to do.

cervinis is total crap. anyone who told you they fit good, hasnt bought a cervinis product themselves, or at least hasnt done so in several years. i bought them, they fit like ****, fell off in 12 hours, and cervinis basically told me to go **** myself.

they dont even look like real eleanor louvers, the CDC ones do, so i dunno wtf is up with them.

ditch the cervinis, get cdc's.

i have the cervinis hood and side scoops and have had several cervinis products on previous cars. IMO they are the best fitting aftermarket body kit pieces that they make for these cars.

I've never heard of anyone sanding them to fit flush... That must be a nice look.
