Default Xcal 2 vs Xcal 3

Anyone know the differences other than the design of these 2 items. I can get a brand new xcal 2 for $250 shipped or an xcal 3 for $355 shipped. Is the xcal3 worth the extra $100 bucks. If so what features are added? Thanks in advance

Thats a good price for the 2 if it's new. I'd pick that up and order a single tune file from Doug. If you plan on getting three tunes, it would be better to just order a tuner from bama or brenspeed. Stick with the tried and true xcal2.

I was wondering about this same thing and e-mailed Brenspeed about it and they said the only difference between the two was the difference in data-logging capabilities. As far as tuning or anything they said there is no difference and if you are buying one for tuning there is no reason to pay the extra money for the Xcal 3.

Well a BAMAchips custom 3 file X-cal refill runs $115

so do the math $250+$115=$365 about $14 lessthan the Xcal-3 + 3tunes they offer.

But, I guess if you plan on getting a single tune it would totally be a bargain
