Default Am I going crazy?

I bought my 07 Gt last July. I felt that it had incredible power. Over the past few months I felt something was lacking (maybe just getting used to it???). Now the weather is a little warmer, and my car feels awesome again! Is it my imagination?

Probably just you getting used to it. Colder weather should've produced better numbers, even if you weren't modded out, shouldn't have had power loss. Probably just your imagination.

Similar experience here.
It's the intuitive computer that learns how you drive.

Slap a tune on that thing and let it relearn all over again.
Plus, if you feel this way again after having the tune in for awhile, reinstall the tune and it's like driving from day one again.

I don't know where you live but here in NJ they use a winter mix in the fuel. My Brenspeed tune was knocking a bit at high rpm under load during the winter and now not a peep. This might have been what you were feeling.

drive something else for an hour or so, then hop back in the stang - my gf has a '00 eclipse gt-s; i drove it back to her place from the bar one night, then drove my stang home later - wow! really made me re-appreciate the power my pony puts out. acclimation is a b*itch!

its all a state of mind

sunshine, sunglasses, warm temps, clean car, good tunes.. it just feels right

snowing, nasty dirty car, gloomy looking outside... not much fun

I agree with the winter mix of gas, especially when talking about MPG. My gas milage jumped about 4 mpg after they stopped using that winder blend.
