HOW MUCH DOES YOUR STANG WEIGH?
With all the weight reduction posts I've seen I've been thinking about the actual weight of all the Stangs on The Forum. Take your Stang to a scale full tank of gas, no one in the car. List engine,tranny,coupe or convert,year & any major mods that may affect your cars weight. Post it!!!
Mine.....3,747lbs
06, GT coupe 4.6L
Automatic,Shaker 1000
80sq. ft. Damplifier
Roush SuperCharger
Rear Seat Delete
I don't think this is a dumb post. It will take some time to get weighed.I hope my post won't get lost on page 150 or later in the archives.

2007 Mustang GT Deluxe Coupe M5 3.55 (Gears were the only option)
Contrary to popular opinion the 2007 is lighter than the 2005 (although only a few pounds).
The published Shipping Weight for the 2005 and the weight on my MSO bare this out.
Stock with 1/4 tank
3420 lb(1/4 tank - CAT Scale)
You can add about 60 lb for a full tank.
With JLTII CAI and Aluminum Driveshaft (1/4 Tank - NHRA Scale)
3380 lb
The driveshaft dropped 33 lb (51.5 lb vs 18.5 lb). The other 7 lb could be be affected by air box vs CAI, scale calibration, fuel difference or the fact the CAT reads in 20 lb increments. The fact that it appears close gives me confidence my weights are accurate.
PS I think the only car with a lighter shipping weight than mine would have been a spoiler delete car.

Standard 235/55R17 Pirelli All-Season, Standard Silver Painted 17x8 5-Spoke Wheels, Standard CD Player (160W?).
The difference between a Deluxe and a Premium is Premium comes with leather and Shaker 500.
It would have been 5 lb lighter with spoiler delete but I didnt order it.
It was on the lot (Tungsten) along with an Alloy just like it.

let me get this right you can put 400 lbs in options in your stang?
........I have the premium with the shaker 1000 and i am 6.2" 235 I am just screwed then
