Not a bad deal if you can get it for under $12K. How much to repair? I figure at least $6000-8000. Less if you do the detail work yourself. New front end with custom parts? Just wonder if the frames bent... that's hard to fix correctly.
But why no factory warranty? Is that cause it'll be a salvage title and factory warranties aren't any good on a salvage?

This car is good for 2 things. You could turn it into a race car OR use it for a parts car. There isn't a frame so you don't have to worry about that. As far as the airbags go, the car was probably the one that received the hit. (ie. It wasn't moving.)

The damage was not from a collision, but from just going so darn fast into a strong head-wind that it started to disintegrate
I think it was a different kind of HEAD-wind..sorry..I couldn't resist

It list foglights in the features. Hell, I don't even see head lights or parking lights.

That is the only explanation on the airbags not being deployed, the car had to be turned off. If the car was turned on they should deploy unless they were deffective.
