well my car just got towed back to the dealership yesterday cause the alternator went out at 14101 miles when i finally got her home nothing worked electrically i had no lights not even brake lights no airbags no tcs no abs no radio windows wouldn't go up and dash no longer work but my question is that is the alternator that went out right? and has this happen to anyone else? and how long should it take to get repaired?

 

well once the dealership gets to working on the car, its about an hour or two job.. it shouldnt take long.. is it covered under warranty?

 

Total loss of electrical item from working to not within minutes is not the alternator.
Its a fuse ora fuseable link or something else.
Explain what happened in the order it happened with more details as your description is kinda flaky and hard to follw or understand.

same thing happened to me! everything died.. i replaced the battery and everything was fixed.. but now my new battery isnt working right, its my alternator, and im almost certan its my underdrive pulley.. when i come to a light ill watch my battery guage drop to Low.. then when i start driving it goes right passed the middle mark..
