Burnt out light tail light after sequentials.
I posted this in my other thread about it, again, I can't be sure it's true or not true, but I was sent this
by the place I ordered my CDC Dynamite sticks from and got WebElectric branded ones:
Dear Jim,
Webb Electric makes the part for CDC. This is why the product has the
manufacturers name and the supplier's instructions. Please feel free to call
us if you have any other questions and thank you for choosing [oops]

We screwed you. Here is our way out.
They are one inthe same. Thank you.
Take it from me, I have had both sets
in for evaluation and the CDCs were different
physically and electronically.
Can't argue with that since I haven't seen both in my hand. I will say that the ones I got
did not look like some of the pictures of the webelectrics I've seen (there was no separate
module that needed to be zip tied out of the way like the one in TacoBill's instructions in the
sticky at the top of the forum). Mine looked like the pictures I've seen of the CDC ones,
but came in a box marked WebElectric...
I wonder if either company would confirm or deny directly?
I'd love to see a schematic of this, because I can't see what these could be doing that would
burn out a light bulb...

Cold filiments have a horrable inrush current that is limited
by soft start. The resistance of a cold filiment is almost
like a dead short until it is heated to light producing temps.

Its nicer to the bulbs and they last longer.
Murrays didn't have the 4057 bulbs, the closest they had were 4157 which I'm assuming are the same thing. Thanks everyone for your help.
so, is it CDC if i didn't have to use a zip tie?
the only difference from stock on mine appeared to be a module shaped like a black pill but a little bigger, all ziptied and connected to the harness.
Which one do i have?

I cannot tell. CDCs come with CDC instructions and are in
a real CDC box. I have the box and can post pics if so desired.
