Went by one of the dealerships to look at the Bullitts, test drove it and was like wow, what a smooth ride. The interior had a nice setup, had the shaker 1000, could feel the 3.73"s in it, not too bad. The outside was like, ok pretty plain,but we all know it will hold s o m e value. Tried to get it with my X plan and nope, they dont work prices too much with the Bullitts. Oh well, have a nice day. Salesman asks me if I see anything else out there. Pointed out a couple, a Grabber Orange with the stripes, window and side louvers, but wanted way too much. Saw the dark candy apple red with I believe are the fan blades. Took it for a ride, smooth, has the 3.55's, all the goodies. It was pretty dirty, so I asked him to clean it up, he did and I was like "pretty damn nice". Praised my 06 GT, figured in the 16 grand range, nope, still at 19 grand, just like the other day when I had it appraised. Got the ball rolling, got good apr, money off with the x plan and rolled out today withan 2008 dark candy apple red GT. During the paperwork time, went home and removed all my goodies I had. Put the factory tune back init, stock air intake, stock mufflers all but my headers, x pipe and tires. Diablo will go on Ebay along with the cai and I think I am going with the SCT and the Steeda AI. The price difference should have been no more than 6k if your trade was 19k. If that was the case you got a GREAT deal, the average depreciation of all cars in america is 2.9k the mustang should be 3.6k. I know these are smart figures to be aware of, but i happen to know them lol.

 

I lost $2300 in my car, value wise, but cashed in my extended warranty ($1250) and threw down another $1250 to make the difference. I didnt want to trade at first because of the money I put in the 06 and on that part I lost $1600, including the labor for the shorty headers, that kind of sucked like big time. But all that was cash no credit, so ehhh take the hit and roll guys.

 

If you dont like the fan blades ( i assume rims you are talking about) and live close to me and want to trade I am up for a trade. I just got a 2008 with the 18 Inch bullits, but like the fan blades better. I am in alexandria, VA.

 

How many miles were on the 06?

yea why the trade? seems silly unless you had 70K+ miles
