Default Doing a long burnout

Mine are usually 15 - 20 feet, lasting about 10 seconds (I'm just guesstimating)

anyone got some tips on making it scream and smoke and leave some serious tracks?

I've never shifted to 2nd while doing a burnout, you do? won't the tires get traction while you shift and stop spinning?

if you spin 1st up nice for a bit and hold it, get off the brake and shift into second really quick. it will keep spinning and spinning and spinning.

but why, your just beating the car, and burning the tires. not worth it at all.

If you want a long burnout, then you got to hold it on the brake. You could manage it in 2nd but 1st is easier on everything.
Pretty much, once you get the wheels spinning, you can hold it like that as long as you want.

Just don't do the retard-thing of planting the throttle and letting the rev limiter do the work. People will just either cringe or laugh at you....or both. Get the wheels & motor spinning at a comfortable RPM where it's producing power enough for the job but no more, it's really not needed. Kinda hard to explain, have a look at mine here.
