Hey everyone I don't know if this questions was asked before , but dose the Xcal 2 work on 2008 GT? I just got my Xcal unlocked from SCT (it was locked to my old GT), but now it dose not work on the new 08 , it dose not reconize the ECU. I was wandering if it's only the preloaded tunes, or is the hole tuner gone...?

 

It was locked to your old gt? Didn't you set back to stock on the older gt and use the changes left over for your 08?

 

Unfortunatly I totaled my 05 (I miss her, the 08 is just not cutting it), I am trying to move on with the 08 now... but the SCT FS Xcal is not working on the 08 I was wandering if anyone has any tips

i know there are people using xcal2 on 08s so there is something else wrong, if they are generic tunes and not a Bamachip, Brenspeed etc tune, then it should work on your car i think without issue

Did you download the updated tune files from their internet site? If not that may be why it doesnt recognize your car.
If you want to use the Brenspeed Tune it will have to be rewritten for the new Calibration/Strategy Code.

PS You need to update your sig.

 

Umm...are you using the tunes for your 05 on your 08?

 

no it's the tunes that came with it..
