Default question on whipple install

hey guys. I was wondering how hard the whipple kit was to install for those of you that did it yourselves... I'm trying to decide whether to install it myself along with some help or to pay for install. I am ok with tools and all that. I did my cdmp's, intake, exhaust, on my own. I know this is a lot more involved but I'm trying to make this the chapest as possible.

i think you'll be fine doing the install
yourself. it really boils down to following
the install manual....

take the money you save and buy
some nice tools, that's what i did

The install is not easy nor too difficult. It is just time consuming and takes patience. One of the trickiest things for the beginners is the new fuel system. I gotta say though Mike, our install price for ya is pretty darn cheap [8D]

And one more thing to remember...if you have a shop install it and something goes wrong, they will fix it and you don't have to worry about messing something up on your own

true. can't go wrong with you guys. just a little scary pulling the trigger on this one! just cause it wil be the biggest and priciest mod to date! haha but I trust you guys and am 90 percent sure I'm going with you guys anyway. I was just wondering if I could do it on my own just for the personal satisfaction of being able to say I did it myself. feels good after you get a new mod on all by yourself. ill be filling out the paperwork tonight.

how long will I have to leave my car there with you guys mickey? and can I help and watch?

I completely understand the self-satisfaction part, believe me...as far as install time goes, you can drop it off in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon with 200+ more hp . I know for a fact you can watch us do it, but it is up to Ernie whether he would allow you to help or not (some restrictions may disallow this). Keep me posted bud!
