Makes it even when in neutral. It sounds like escaping air, kinda like a "cha" or "cho" real quick. Mods below, I have been running the CAI awhile now and never noticed the sound before today. Waiting on my son to get home so can have my ear under hood or car to narrow where it is coming from, but in the meantime it is bugging me.

Anyone have this sound, or have an idea what it could be? I did make sure all CAI connections are tight.

Did you have the top down? I am amazed at the noises I will hear with a window down.

 

Not hard to hear at all. I pulled out onto the highway and got on it a bit, noticed when shifted from 1-2 and 2-3... again, easing on the throttle doesn't make the sound, just the initial punch and a quick one second "cho".

I did have the top down, but have had it down a lot over the last couple weeks and just have never heard it. Going to swing by Brenspeed on way home from work tomorrow and see what they think.
