Default bike in my trunk

if i put the seats down, and enter through the passanger side (with that seat tilted forward), I can fit my bike in the mustang gt 07. My question is, what should I do as precautioins while im doing it? I make sure my bike doesn't touch anything except the trunk padding area.

anyone else do this?

i would'nt do that, but if you did'nt have any other choice use a lot of furniture pads or blankets.

I take my front wheel off, put the seats down, and slide it into the trunk. You need to be careful,
go slow, and get the hang of it. My biggest problem is the Shaker 1000 subs. If those weren't in the
way, it would be easier. I've been doing this pretty regularly without a problem. Way better than
a bike rack.

Good luck.

its fine I used to do it. you'll scratch the **** outta your bumper and plastic panels. Just get a towel.sheet and put it over the bottom of the opening everytime.

Lay a shipping blanket over the trunk and bumper area before
putting the bike in and tuck it up over the bike once its in, like
a big tounge hanging out of a big mouth, insert bike, lay tounge
on top of bike. To remove, reverse the procedure.
Or get one of those folding bikes. [&:]

Now how to get my Moped into the trunk area without spilling
gas all over? Any ideas for that one? Big plastic sheet?
Pull a vacuum on the fuel tank prior to loading it into the stang/truck.
Mine only holds a half a rick of wood at a time so buying a whole
rick at onceis just out of the question. Now what?
Pull a Seinfeld and put the extra groceries under the hood?

If you have to carry one they make a class 1 hitch that will fit a V6. I'm not sure if it can be modified to work on a GT. I believe I saw it on Moss Motors website. Just a thought. Might save your paint and interior. accidents do happen
