I did get the FRPP SGT axle backs, definitely the first mod required! I think the shelby signed dash plaque, stage 2, LCAs, and 3.73s are next on my list.

yeah....and why the hell did they still not put hood struts on this car....jeesh...does anyone sell them or do the ones that fit regular GT's work on the 500....still got to iron out some details with the dealer...like financing rate..payment..albeit I am putting at least 25% down with my car sale so that should help//I also can not believe how freaking quiet the 500 is...have you ever heard one with slp loudmouths...I am curious....where do you order the plaque...

Chef, check out shelbyautos.com for the plaque. It's kind of spendy at $325 but you get the personalized plaque to your VIN and the sill plates and takes about 10 weeks to receive.

Most guys I've talked to have gone with the steeda hood struts, no idea why they still have the prop rod!! I need to add the struts to my list too....and all along I thought my mod list was going to be smaller with the shelby

I haven't heard the SLPs but stock mufflers were just ridiculous, felt like I was driving around in a Toyota Camry (minus the SC whine).

The wheel hop is pretty bad stock too, but LCAs should take care of it.

No, unfortunately it doesn't - only the Shelby GT does. I'm not sure if the Shelby GT has a true signature or if its engraved into the plaque??? Unfortunately I have to drop over 300 smacks to get the mans signature.

I figure it is worth it for the novelty and long-run value though.

you would think for the price ...it should...that and a better axel back as well as hood struts....3 things they should have taken care of and it would have been less than 1000 for all of it retail....I am sure their cost would have been closer to $500....

I lived in FLA for years when I was a kid and I don’t remember that.

Sucks bout the GT, but cool to hear you are snapping up a GT500 below sticker, have fun with it.
Forget the stingers though and roll with Corsa, sounds oh so good!!!!
