Last week I ordered my first performance mod, a JLT2 CAI with XCAL2 through Brenspeed. It can not get here soon enough!!! I searched through and read many posts from you guys after you first installed this package. I can't wait for that feeling you all described.

 

I think you'll notice more with an auto. I have a manual transmission and while the difference was noticeable it didn't make me feel like jumping for joy. It was subtle.

Honestly I like the boomtubes better than my intake and tune.

 

Yeah, it sounds like the autos really wake up with the tunes. I would have gotten a manual but my wife can't drive a stick.
What are boomtubes? Some part of the exhaust, I presume.

 

Yep boomtubes are an axle back. Basically a muffler delete but there are some baffles in there that make it sound a little better IMO.

 

I have my JLT II w/ bama race/perf/torq in 91 on SCT. I would like to get rid of it now that I got the Paxton. It was great while I had it and with 4.10's it was unreal.

You will love it. I have an auto and I got the same thing about a month ago. The first time you go WOT you will crap your pants
