Default ?? for Nitrous Users

i just purcheseda zex kit with all the goodies. Im running a 125 shot untill i upgrade the fuel system to support a 150
What rpms and gears do you have your window switch set to?
What should the pressure range be on the gauge for the best hit?
I talked to seth at brenspeed he said the HTO colder plugs dont have to be gapped and you can just put them in.
Did yougap your plugs?
if you did what did yougap them to?
does the kit come with enough wireing?
Does it come with the hardware to mount the bottle bracket.
I also bought a autometer fuel pressure gauge so im guessing ill need to get a brass T fitting to tap into the supplied adapter from zex on the fuel rail so i can run the line for the nitous and the gauge.
Im doin the install myself being im a mechanic at a ford dealer but any tips you can give me would be appreciated.
thanks -Dan-

The HT0 are supposed to come pregapped but they are almost always in need of being gapped.
The ZEX kit should tell you what to gap your plugs to and how much timing to remove for a 125 shot.
Yes the kit shoud have the hardware to mount the bottle.
Yes you will need a tee from the fuel block.
I don't use a window switch. However, you would want it to start only above 2500rpms and shut off short of your rev limiter (what ever you have it set at).

Hope that helps a bit.

i wouldnt spray below 3krpm. thats the level ive always used. 950-1000psi is ideal for bottle pressure, but ive sprayed on 600psi before, just know you will be running rich, but thats always better than leaning out. i always give myself about 2-300rpm buffer between my window shutoff and the rev limiter. u shouldnt be shifting at the limiter anyways as peak power falls off before that as is.

Well with the ZEX kit it only draws fuel if you have nitrous so you shouldn't run rich when you run low on bottle pressure. If you have a low bottle or low pressure the shot becomes less. Hence you may be set up to run a 125shot but if the bottle is low then you may be running a 75 shot in reality.

That's why I like the ZEX kit.....it's pretty safe to use!

its not that intricate. the zex kit only has cutoffs. so if the bottle pressure drops too far the kit just shuts off all together, it doesnt actually adjust the fuel level. i believe the shutoff psi is low enough that in reality you would need to either leave ur bottle closed or have a jet get clogged for anything to turn off. the fuel side of the box is much more likely to trip the safety switch
