Default Suggestions on tunes?

Within the next week, I will be ordering the JLT & X3 combo from BamaChips. Just wonder what tunes you guys would recommend getting for the 3 you get to choose (I definitely want to run a 93 tune as my main).

Also, since I'm completely new to this, any tips or suggestions, or cool things you can do with the X3, that you could provide would be appreciated!

ORIGINAL: blackice05

93 race, 93 torq and 87 perf
Nothing wrong with those three choices but I find I never use the Torque or the Perf.
They are the standard recommendations if you have 93 octane.
Race is plenty docile the other calibrations dummy down the throttle response.

If I had it to do over again.
87 Perf (In case Im forced to buy regular and for snow driving).
93 Race for my normal street use.
96 Race for the track. Either a 50/50 mix of GT100/93 or 93 + one bottle of Lucas MMT-Based Octane Booster which gives 4.8 AKI gain at 50:1 and 3.6 AKI Gain at 100:1 (Independent Testing).

Thanks for the suggestions! I remember someone on here saying that they didn't like the 93 Race tune for daily driving and that their car actually ran rich with it and they had black build-up on the exhaust pipes.

I got plento of build up also, when you go with an offroad midpipe, it's real common. Ate the stingers out.

I tried the 93 Race, 93 Torque, and 89 Performance. 93 Race is the only way to go. The throttle is a bit jumpy but you get used to it quite quickly.

Okay, so I'm most likely going with 87 Perf., 93 Torque, & 93 Race.

Also, as I asked above, are there any other cool things I can do with the X3? I know nothing of it.

Definately have an 87 tune just to be safe. I've been on road trips where all I could find was 87 octane. Keep the tuner in the car.
