What point does the rev limiter kick in on a stock car? Right at redline?

Didn't sound like a stock limiter.

The reason I ask is I've pushed it right at or slightly over redline on accident a couple times and never felt or heard the limiter kick in. Maybe it did and I didn't feel it because it happened right as I went to shift.

The tune doesn't have anything to do with how a stock rev limiter works. You can set the limit with the tune but that doesn't change how the rev limiter works.
