Default CAI Differences?

Hey all, can anyone tell me the difference, if any,(besides obvious aethetics) between the JLT Series II CAI and the BBK Air Intake CAI?

EDIT: Has anyone actually used either of these, or better yet, both of these for comparison?

Thanks!

i'm sorry i can't answer your question exactly, but i can tell you that i have the BBK cai and i've never had any problems with it. i'm sure there may be some differences between the two intakes, but i'm thinking that the tune is the more important factor, irrespective of the brand of intake.

quality of the intake..installed my Steeda with brenspeed tune last night..that is one impressive CAI... all will give you the same performance though..seriously just look at the JLT heat shield compared to the Steeda

in order of quality

1)steeda
2)c&l
3)bbk
4)airaid
5)jlt
6)tunable induction

^ right, but jlts plastic doesn't get warped to hell like steeda's. A pretty big difference in cost also. Steeda was late to the party and can't match jlt or c&l's sales. At first, I was interested in the steeda, it does look real good and looks like quality. Just as happy of going with my jlt though. Your list looks pretty much right. with a higher quality comes a higher price. I think ti's quality is better than that though?

One is not really better than the other. I have the BBK. It fit perfectly and is of high quality. Looks great as well! With the BBK intake, a Brenspeed tune, and Steeda CMCV I'm making 300 at the wheels. So dont think that just because a CAI costs less, it performs less, because that just isnt true. Its all in the tune.
