Default RE: Hurst shifter

You will get used to the clunking and even find a way to minimise it. I have developed a method which is to tense my shifting arm more whilst shifting, to avoid the shifter dropping into gear. It's more a case of placing the shifter in position as oppossed to blindly ramming it home.

What some folk have done is to use the Hurst mechanism but retaining the stock rubber bushings. This seems to be a nice compromise.
