Default Are 2008 models updated?

I've read on here of the many problems these cars have, especially the spark plugs, and was just wanting to know if Ford had updated the various problems on the new models, or if I still need to be worried about the various things. The spark plugs are the main one I really want to keep an eye on if need be. TIA

The spark plugs are supposed to be the good part of the car. What you read is only the bad but very few owners have issues really.

Why? I keep reading this from random people, but then it's immediately refuted by instances of people having 08's that have the exact same model design with no anti-seize as all the other models.

What about the water leaks, gas fill problems, and popping front end? Anyone with an 08 had those troubles either?

These problems should already be addressed with
the 08s as there are TSBs out for those problems listed.
The fuel fill is a saddle bag type gas tank design flaw.
I dont think they changed the design for 08. [:'(]
The water leak is from various sources and I dont think
they have nailed it yet. The popping front end should
be fixed with the redesigned upper strut mount bearings.

The Spark plug issue has been addressed by Ford for the 08 model year. What you need to find out if you can (and what I've been trying to find out) is at what point did Ford start using the newheads for 08? I've heard various sources say ALL 08 and some that say some 08 depending on the build-date. I have an 08 built in 9/07 and I believe I still have the olderhead style.(Haven't confirmed it for myself yet).

As for those of you that haven't heard of the S197 V8 spark plug issues you guys must be living under a rock. [8D]

If you have the older style heads tehre is still hope with Champions new 7989 spark plug. It's a one-piece design meant to replace ford/autolites two-piece setup.
