At what point (in terms of mileage) would you say it is too late to supercharge the mustang? I have 05 GT with 35k miles, and am seriously contemplating getting blown this summer; but just want to make sure I am at a good point, in terms of mileage,to do so.

35k isn't even close to alot of mileage. Go ahead.

 

As long as you replace wear parts whenever needed I say it's never too late.

 

It's never too late. Sure the internals might have more wear on them and you'll be needing to tear into the motor sooner but it's never too late for boost !!

My V6 had 34,000 when I got the X-Charger....no problems.

You only need to worry when its around 60,000 miles on it...

 

I agree- get blown[8D] Do it right the first time and forge those internals!!!!!!!!! no worries!

 

I waited untill almost 300 miles bfore I started the bolt ons and by 5k had the blower on. Go for it... if she goes up thats a great time for billet internals..
