ok well first off let me tell u i went to the track with my new chrome fr500 rims and was very disapointed. trapping high 107's and i coult only muster a best of 13.29@107.95. never again will i run those rims. but anyways im particapating in a dyno day at big shot dyno in hudson ohio and im wondering how much of a difference is there on the dyno between my stock 17in rims and my 18x10 chrome rims. i will be running my fr 500's up there but ide like to know how much more would i c if i were to run the stockers. if u look in my sig u'll c my trap speed differences. also any takers on wut i'll lay down?

 

Honestly you most likely would not see a difference on the dyno because plus or minus 5-10rwhp can be had with other variables.

How do the short times compare? Thats an important part of figuring out whats wrong here...Somehow, 3 tenths and 3 mph just doesn't seem right for just going to an 18" rim, unless they are made of cast lead.

 

well im lookin at an earlier time slip and in the 1/8th i ran 8.45@ 85.25 mph. this week i ran 8.75@81.46 mph. and that was best time slips for both weeks. only difference weather wise is that it was about 70 compared to about 62. the tires r also 2 inches shorter than the stockers. im running 275/35/18 on the rear compared to the 235/55/17 stock. they claim they r 25.20 diameter
