Default CAI again. :-D

ok, i've read up and can't find an answer to this....so for the record...i've looked :-) anyways, is it possible to go out and buy any tuner and any CAI and use them together? or do certain tuners HAVE to be used when upgrading to a CAI?

Default RE: CAI again. :-D

the handheld tuner doesnt matter, its the tune thats ON the tuner. where the tuner comes into play is if your wanting a certain company to write your tunes (like bamachips, brenspeed, vmp). any of these companies will write the tunes and take into account the intake you are using. from what i understand, the main thing is them properly setting everything up to have a proper MAF calibration with the new (larger) MAF housing of your new intake.

btw, it seems most places use the SCT brand of tuners
