Default Will this offset stick out??? 18x10 45mm

I have been searching all day and can not find an answer about the wheels I'm interested in. I have an 05 covert GT. I want the Deep Dish Chrome Bullitt. I want 18x10 in the back with a 295-40-18 and 18X9 in the front with a 255-45-18. I don't want them to stick out pass the body of the car. American Muscle as the back offset listed as +45mm and +34mm for the front. Does this seem right? They have some pictures of peoples cars but it hard to tell from the pictures because they use the wrong angle. If anyone has this set up please post some picture from the back straight down the body of the car.

Are these sizes okay for a DD?

Edited to add front wheel size.

Here are some dimensions that may help. They aren't exact, but should be pretty close. Best to compare vs the GT500 wheel for backspacing (they're 1/8" to maybe 3/16" deeper in back) and frontside spacing (about 3/8" further out). Or vs the GT 8.5" wheel (not quite half an inch more on the back and about 7/8" further out on the outside). Hope it helps.

GT 18" GT500 18" YOUR 10's
NominalWidth 8.50 9.5010.00in
Offset 504545mm
OverallWidth 9.7010.7011.00in
Backspacing 6.82 7.12 7.27in
FrontSideSpacing 2.88 3.58 3.73in

BTW, 10" is half an inch above spec for 255/45's and is visibly going to look slightly "stretched" to fit. Normally I'm not too concerned with being half an inch too wide with the wheel, but I'm a little bit uneasy with this particular combination at least without having the specific tire measurements from the exact make/model tires you intend to buy.

Edited so the table could be read.

They will stick out 0.75" more than 18x8.5 45mm negative offset OEM rims.
1.5" wider equals 0.75" wider inside and 1.5" wider outside with the
same 45mm negative offset. The 34mm offset 18x10 fronts will be different
with more tire under the fender than the 45mm negative offset 18x10 rears.
You didnt state the front rim width so I am just guessing.

Some how I forgot to type in my orginal post, the front wheels will be 18X9. So that should be okay right?

Thanks for the chart that helped a lot.

You'll be fine (I'm assuming that the 9's are 45mm offset, for which the outside will be 1/2" inboard of where the GT500's outer face sits).

The chart was copied/pasted from a little spreadsheet I wrote. It's based on the FRPP catalog for Ford's OE alloy wheel flange widths (0.6") but I generally use 0.5" flange width for any unknown alloy wheel. A work in progress.

My FR500's are 18x10 +45MM rear and 18x9 +35MM front. They fit perfectly flush. You'll be fine with those. My tires in the rear are 295/45/18 and 255/45/18 front. The rear tires stick out just slightly. Here's some pictures. Hope this helps.

That's perfect thanks for the picture just what I'm looking for. Once I get the street scene rear bumper you won't even see the part sticking out.

What about this being for a daily driver any problems with that?

Do you have any issues with rubbing?

Yeah, nothing at all wrong with the 45 on a 10'. Just please, please don't go 24mm like some folks ona 9' rim. Reminds me of a the guys here in TX that have the rims sticking out 2' from the fenders. [&o]

Damn Darkfire, that is a perfect picture of the perfect offset for front/rear. Looks great!
