carbon fiber hood on black gt
anyone have this,i just want to see some pictures.im not too sure about this but i have a black gt and it may save me some money on getting a hood painted.

I don't want to bring cow p#ss on your parade but you guys need to clear coatthose.
I'm serious, it will fade to yellow and you'll have small crackswithin two years (in FL).
All it is on the top is resin, so it needs to be protected.
Watch out guys, with those carbon fiber parts.

Yeah it looks really bad. And 1 year later looks like the day I bought it. I guess Seibon just knows what they're doing(?)

Now don't everybody go out and buy a CF hood. Some guy that lives near me with an Alloy stang has already copied just about every exterior mod I have. He's got one of the those factory fake hood scoop hoods so I think I'm safe for awhile on the hood [>:] lol!

Funny you mentioned Seibon. I've seen one on a 2000[&:]. Not good.
If your car isn't exposed in the sun as much, then of course, it will survive a lot longer.
If it was me, it would get clear coated right away.
