Give Yakima a call. I think their number is 971-249-7689. Ask for Sean and tell him Robbie from Currie sent you. He's a real cool dude. When he was placing an order with me the other day, I asked him the same thing, and they do have a roof rack. Its not going to damage the car in any way, shape, or form, so I say go for it.

It's a ford mustang people, not a freakin' lamborghini!
If he wants to take his bikes with him somewhere, there is nothing wrong with that.

I need to carry acubic yardof sand.
Will it fit in myS197 if I fold down the rear seats?

Get an X-Terra, they have built in roof racks.
Shut the hell up troll, it is a Mustang not the Holy Grail.
If the guy wants to put a roof rack on his carthenlet him.
Besides you use your Mustang to haul around a pile of **** in the driver's seat every day.
Judging by your pictures it is about 6' tall, weights in a buck-ten and thinks it is Kid Rock.

^lolz.

Im sticking with my reply. haha. Check out Yakima.

Trust me, I dont like tearing my bike down every time I want to go riding either. The roof rack is the way to go. I made the mistake of buying the trunk rack and it dented the **** out of the trunk lid on my last car.
